I am broadly interested in anatomy and morphology and how this can be applied to physiology, ecology, and evolution. I am finishing a project funded by the Norris Center examining the internal anatomy of the invasive Swamp Eel Monopterus albus and comparing the anatomy to other elongated fish. I completed two illustrations depicting the visceral anatomy and the skeletal system of the Swamp Eel. I am also beginning a project looking at bird morphology. After completing my undergraduate degree, I am hoping to continue on to graduate school. I also enjoy scientific illustration and like finding ways to apply it to the work I do.
