My interests are within organismal biology. Before joining the Mehta lab, I collected field data with the Santa Cruz Puma Project, along with having an internship in animal husbandry.
I am currently working on my senior thesis. I am seeking to quantify taxonomic bias in animal research at UC schools and several private California universities. I hope to illuminate gaps among taxonomies being studied as compared to their relative presence in the tree of life, and investigate causes/ implications of such possible biases. After graduating, I will be applying to graduate programs, continuing my passion for rock climbing, and hopefully travelling!
