Aarzu Gupta

AarzuGuptaI am a rising sophomore at The Harker School in San Jose. This summer, I am working with my mentor, Christiane, to quantify how inclines of 5 and 10 degrees affect the terrestrial locomotion of Echidna nebulosa, specifically changes in their kinematic behavior. I am interested in Computer Science and Biology and am hoping to continue researching in those fields. Additionally, I am a part of my school’s robotics team. As of next year, I will be the Secretary of the Women in STEM(WiSTEM) club and the editor of content and design for my school’s science journal, Harker Horizon. Aside from my STEM interests, I enjoy singing and dancing as I am a member of a selective choir and participate in my school’s annual dance show. I also volunteer at Akshaya Patra: a non-profit motivating underprivileged children to attend school by providing them with free meals.
