My name is Riley Wrileywilliamsilliams. I am a third year at UCSC majoring in Ecology and Evolutionary Biology. I am currently assisting Amber as she studies the acrobatic anti-predation behavior in California slender salamanders (Batrachoseps attenuates). I am also in the process of developing a project studying prehensile tails in the genus Morelia. Specifically, I hope to look into the allometric relationships between closely related prehensile and semi-prehensile tailed snakes, or the morphology of the caudal vertebrae in these snakes. In my free time, I enjoy hiking, baking, swimming, and taking care of animals. I am very excited to be studying abroad at the University of Queensland in Australia this fall.
